Grand Canyon Reader Award

Shea is participating in the Grand Canyon Reader Award. Voting will take place the end of March 2008, right after our Spring Break. Students that have read at least three of the ten books nominated will be eligible to vote. The Grand Canyon Reader Award winner will be announced sometime in April 2008. The ten books nominated in the Tween category are:

Code Talker by Joseph Bruchac
Down the Rabbit Hole by Peter Abrams
Last Shot by John Feinstein
The Lightening Thief by Rick Riordan
The Misadventures of Maude March by Audry Couloumbis
Princess Academy by Shannon Hale
The Ruins of Gorlan by John Flanagan
Sleeping Freshman Never Lie by David Lubar
Uglies by Scott Westerfeld
Vampire High by Douglas Rees

We want to help the state choose the favorite book of all the teenagers in Arizona. Our opinions count!!
