City of the Beasts

City of the Beasts is a fantastic book about a boy named Alexander, his new best friend Nadia, and their adventures in the Amazon. They are on an expedition looking for "the Beast" from the Amazon. It has a terrible smell, and is very tall. Alex and Nadia go on many adventures with the "People of the Mist," the Beasts and many other interesting creatures. Have you ever heard of Atlantis, the city of gold? Well, Alex and Nadia go there to meet with the beasts, and go on their quests to help save the "People of the Mist."
